But recently i also found something most worrying. German navy chief Kay-Achim Schonbach said that Mr Putin deserves respect. The very same peaceful Putin whose critics use to appear dead. It almost seems that some people in Russia and in Germany would love to divide Ukraine in half like they did to Poland 83 years ago !
PS - I have a hard time understanding how many Germans can sleep at night watching their former Chancellor Gerhard Schröder being Putin's jester just to get a fat check every month from Gazprom. What are German Intellectuals waiting for to call it what it is, a shameful role?
