Estudo mostra que o modelo GPT-4 é melhor a prever o desempenho futuro das empresas do que os analistas humanos

O link supra diz respeito a um estudo de um  grupo de investigadores da Universidade de Chicago, que utilizaram dados de 150.000 observações ao longo de dezenas de anos, tendo descoberto que o GPT-4 pode analisar demonstrações financeiras e prever o desempenho de empresas, conseguindo superar o desempenho de analistas humanos. O GPT-4 alcançou uma precisão de 60%, com instruções detalhadas, superando a precisão de 53% dos analistas humanos.

PS - No contexto da supracitada noosfera, que recorde-se permite uma perspectiva abrangente sobre a interconexão entre a mente humana, a sociedade e o meio ambiente, é irónico constatar que haja tantos investigadores que nunca em momento algum se preocuparam em tentar saber qual o verdadeiro contexto das suas investigações. The passage above from the latest edition of The Economist exaggerates the perceived threat posed by China. In his 2023 book "The Rise and Fall of the EAST: How Exams, Autocracy, Stability, and Technology Brought China Success, and Why They Might Lead to Its Decline," Yasheng Huang, a professor at MIT Sloan School of Management, examines China's rise through the prisms of exams, autocracy, stability, and technology. He cautions that these factors risk stifling innovation, fostering social unrest, and hindering economic reforms. Furthermore, economic supremacy hinges on a flourishing start-up ecosystem, yet recent trends show that young Chinese increasingly prefer government jobs. Depois de no post supra (e em vários outros antes desse) ter malhado de forma consistente na classe política deste país, é justo que reconheça que aquela não podem ser assacadas 100% das culpas pelo facto deste país, ser mais pobre do que muitos outros países, como por exemplo do que a Coreia do Sul.

Portanto, se o povo Português, elites (catedráticas) incluídas (que desgraçada mas não surpreendentemente é um triste campeão de sedentarismo e também (triste) campeão no consumo de ansiolíticos), pretende continuar a babar-se por conta de 11 indivíduos milionários semianalfabetos (onde se incluem alguns, sem vergonha, que não se importam de fugir ao fisco), que se limitam a dar pontapés e cabeçadas num objecto, não haverá classe politica, por melhor que aquela possa ser, que o consiga salvar dessa triste tragédia.
