Dear Carolyn,

thanks for your kind email. I´m very honored by the opportunity of becoming professor and Director at Nottingham Trent University.  Unfortunately, it just so happens that even yesterday i declined an invitation to become Editor-in-Chief of a Scopus indexed journal. Email in attachment. The reason is the fact that i´m only 7 years away from the end of a career initiated in 1992. Be there as it may I´ve no doubt that you will find younger and excellent candidates who will be thrilled for such an amazing opportunity and will do an outstanding job as Professor and Director of the new centre in Low Carbon Construction at NTU.
