Subject: RE: Professor and Director of the Centre in Low Carbon Construction and Retrofit at NTU
To: F.Pacheco Torgal
Dear Fernando,
Further to my message below, I wondered if you would be open to an informal chat about the Professor and Director of the new Centre in Low Carbon Construction and Retrofit at Nottingham Trent University.
If you’d like to see further details they are available on: Nottingham Trent University – Professor and Centre Director: Centre of Excellence for Low Carbon Construction and Retrofit · Anderson Quigley
I’d be happy to talk this through with you. I am on holiday next week, but have some free time tomorrow morning and on my return week commencing 6th June.
Alternatively, if it’s not of personal interest I would also welcome any thoughts you might have regarding others we could be reaching out to.
Best wishes,
Carolyn

Subject: Professor and Director of the Centre in Low Carbon Construction and Retrofit at NTU
Dear Fernando,
I hope you don’t mind me contacting you out of the blue. I’m currently working with Nottingham Trent University who are seeking to appoint a Professor and Director of the new Centre in Low Carbon Construction and Retrofit.
To focus their deep research experience in this area, the University’s School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment (ADBE) has created a new Centre of Excellence in Low Carbon Construction and Retrofit.
They are seeking to appoint a committed and passionate academic with a background in construction management, retrofit or a related discipline. Their ideal candidate is an outstanding leader and team player with a positive attitude and vision to help build a unique forward-looking Centre encompassing research, skills, and consultancy to position ADBE as the leading regional provider of low carbon skills and retrofit education.
Given your expertise in this area I am keen to get your thoughts on this. Is this an opportunity which might appeal to you or perhaps others in your networks? I appreciate that the location might require some thought, but if it sparks an interest I’d be happy to talk it through and can send further details.
With best wishes,
Carolyn
Please note my working days are Monday to Thursday.
