Isto nunca me tinha acontecido antes

É a primeira vez que depois de recusar um convite, no passado dia 17 de Maio, para a Universidade de Nottingham Trent https://19-pacheco-torgal-19.blogspot.com/2022/05/professor-and-director-of-centre-in-low.html  recebo novo convite para o mesmo lugar (vide email abaixo). 

Resta-me por isso concluir que a minha recusa inicial não foi muito convincente. Vou assim recusar novamente o convite, mas desta vez vou aproveitar para sugerir o nome de 2-3 jovens investigadores de topo, cujo nome apareça na lista (Scopus Highly Cited Scientists) ou que no mínimo dos mínimos possuam um valor de h-index na base Scopus superior a 20, que era aquele que eu tinha quando em 2017 fui selecionado para a final de um concurso com vista a preencher um lugar de catedrático na Universidade de Uppsala. Vide parecer do perito externo, catedrático da escola de engenharia da conhecida Universidade de Aalto.

I hope you don’t mind me contacting you out of the blue. I’m currently working with Nottingham Trent University who are seeking to appoint a Professor and Director of the new Centre in Low Carbon Construction and Retrofit. 

 

To focus their deep research experience in this area, the University’s School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment (ADBE) has created a new Centre of Excellence in Low Carbon Construction and Retrofit.   

 

They are seeking to appoint a committed and passionate academic with a background in construction management, retrofit or a related discipline. Their ideal candidate is an outstanding leader and team player with a positive attitude and vision to help build a unique forward-looking Centre encompassing research, skills, and consultancy to position ADBE as the leading regional provider of low carbon skills and retrofit education.
